About Us
Basin Brokers was founded by Marie Latortue and Jean Latortue during the pandemic. They are both health professionals from Haiti. Marie is a Dentist and his brother Jean Latortue a physician. During the pandemic, they witnessed the worsening of the famine in the Caribbean countries especially Haiti. They then decided to venture in the food industry so they could connect health and nutrition. One of the main goal of Caribbean Basin Brokers is to facilitate people to get foods to those countries at a reasonable price.
